For the Blue Mountain chapter's April meeting, we will be joined by Sean Hart, regional forester for Forest Carbon Works. Sean will discuss carbon market access for private woodland owners and highlighting some of their projects on the east-side. Forest Carbon Works (FCW) is a public benefit company working to distill the complex processes for developing a carbon project into a simple membership service, creating easy access to the carbon market for private woodland owners throughout the US. An offshoot of EP Carbon—a carbon-project development firm that has been working globally for the past 12 years—FCW brings carbon projects to market under the Compliance Offset Protocol for US Forest Projects established by the California Air Resources Board (ARB) as part of California’s cap-and-trade legislation.
Date and time: April 21 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
