Cover of Oct/Nov/Dec 2024 Western Forester issue. Cover features four people walking in a stream with sprayer backpacks

Restoration and vegetation management are complementary management objectives. To restore some landscapes to historic conditions, vegetation management, whether through prescribed burns or manual removal, is essential to reduce encroachment of competing vegetation. In this issue, authors share how restoration and vegetation management is being undertaken in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska, and how the work is being accomplished.

This issue is also available in English and Spanish.
