Speaker: Craig Richards- Log Buyer for Northwest Hardwoods in Eugene, OR.
Topic: Craig is going to teach us about Oregon white oak restoration projects that he is currently working on in the Willamette Valley area. Northwest Hardwoods manufactures lumber from numerous hardwood species here in the Pacific Northwest but they have historically focused on red alder lumber and hardwood chips. Craig’s area of coverage is all of western Oregon and a little bit in northern California. He is on the road all the time. He still owns and manages Pro Consulting alongside his wife and family. Craig is a long time member of the Coos Chapter and has held leadership roles as well.
