Blue Mountain Chapter’s meeting features a presentation on biochar by Wendy Eddy, USFS. She will brief overview of: How biochar is defined, the benefits it can bring to Eastern Oregon, and a discussion of different scales of operation. It is presented to allow forest and agriculture landowners, forest managers, and other business persons to think about the applicability of biochar facilities in Eastern Oregon communities. The presentation is designed to encourage robust dialogue at the end between the presenter and listeners.
Business items will also be discussed, including an OSAF update, upcoming events and opportunities, and other business.
