For our May meeting, Travis Joseph, CEO/President of American Forest Resource Council, will present “Telling your Story: Challenges and Opportunities for the Forest Sector.” Travis will discuss current legal, policy, and political challenges for sustainably managing at-risk federal forest lands in the West. He will discuss trends in forest health, wildfire, and timber supply that have implications for the forest sector infrastructure and workforce. Travis will highlight the power, importance, and opportunities of “Telling Your Story” in reshaping the narrative around conservation and science-based forest management in
the Pacific Northwest.
