It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2023 Tree Seed Summit from June 21-23 at Pack Forest in Eatonville, Washington. This year, we are excited to announce we are partnering with the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER NW Chapter) to offer a unique workshop covering the topics of seed collection and forest restoration. More details can be found at this website.
The inaugural TSS in 2022 was held to identify the biggest barriers and challenges with seed procurement and strengthen relationships to benefit the broader industry. This linked manuscript features key findings from 2022 and will be published in an upcoming issue of the Tree Planters Notes.
This year’s agenda includes presentations centered around the science, tools, and practical applications for native seed collections, as well as moderated panels and focused group breakout sessions. The field day will consist of demonstrations and a celebratory social gathering.
