The Southwest Washington chapter of SAF is hosting its November meeting on Thursday, November 9th at the River’s Edge restaurant located on the Tumwater Valley Golf Club. This is a change in location from where we’ve been meeting for the past year, in part to make the meeting more accessible to folks who live further north. The business portion of the meeting will start at 6 o’clock, but I invite everyone to come a little early to socialize.
This month, we will be hosting Carlos Gantz, manager of the DNR Webster Forest Nursery, as our guest speaker. He will be giving a presentation on the upcoming, legislatively funded expansion of the nursery in order to increase Washington’s reforestation capacity.
During the business meeting, annual meeting planning and nominations for chapter officers will be discussed.
