Plans are in the works for a Tree School Field Day at Hopkins Demonstration Forest this fall! Learning opportunities will include field classes, demonstrations and hands-on activities. The wide variety of forest types and forest management demonstration areas across the 140 acres at Hopkins provide diverse educational opportunities.

• young stand thinning and pruning
• reforestation and weed management
• selective management of mature forest stands
• wetlands and ponds
• wildlife habitat management
• harvesting and marketing lumber
• non-timber forest products
