The Marys Peak Chapter is comprised of approximately 150 natural resource managers and scientists in and around the Benton, Lincoln, and Linn County areas.
We generally meet monthly from September to June to promote continued advancement of our profession, to discuss current issues in natural resource management and to share ideas with fellow professionals.
We usually host a summer field tour to highlight and address current forest policy issues, or explore exemplary examples of forestry in our area. Corvallis and the campus of Oregon State University are within our membership area, and we partner with the local student SAF chapter to encourage formation of and interaction with future forestry professionals.
