A Virtual Traverse of Forestry in Alaska

Sitka Alaska

Because Alaska boasts such a diversity of forest types and management issues, for the 2021 AKSAF Annual Meeting, you will be taken on a virtual tour around the state. Each day, a different chapter will host a presentation that features forestry issues relevant to their region.

Each day will start with a brief introduction followed by one or two speakers, ending with time for questions and discussion.

The Alaska SAF Business Meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 9, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. (ADT).

April 12:  Dixon Entrance SAF Chapter

Registration for SAF is $30, and $50 for non-members. Student (non-SAF) is $30. The registration for SAF student member will be comped, but when students register, they must provide their school and major.

Attendees are solely responsible for the integrity of their internet connection and electronic equipment function, including use of the Zoom platform. No refunds will be given. Registrants are strictly prohibited from sharing their individual login information.

Students and Chapter Advisors

The AKSAF Annual Meeting Committee encourages all natural resources community college and university students and student chapter advisors to attend. Registration rates have been reduced to $0 for students and includes all the benefits of full registration.
