Forest stewardship often focuses on the above-ground plant life that we can easily see with our eyes, but did you know that forests rely on soil health and microorganisms to support them? In this talk, we’ll introduce you to the below-ground components of a forest and how to encourage a healthy eastern Oregon forest by considering them during your planning and treatment activities.
